At Carolina Elite Women's Care, we offer a variety of services that include routine annual examinations, birth control management, and infertility consultations. In addition, we treat patients with conditions that affect the vulva, vagina, cervix, uterus, tubes, and ovaries. For example, we evaluate patients with uterine fibroids, endometriosis, heavy menses, symptomatic menopause, chronic and acute abnormal vaginal discharge, and abnormal pap smears. Our primary goal is to manage each of these conditions with minimal intervention to achieve the best possible outcome. As a philosophy, medication is administered only when necessary and surgery is the last resort for treatment. The following are examples of the procedures and surgeries that Dr. Scott performs.
Uterus removed vaginally with no external incisions
Small incision, same day surgery.
IUD, long term reversible contraception
Minimize heavy uterine bleeding
Permanent birth contraception
Remove abnormal cells of the cervix
Detect internal abnormalities of the uterus
At Carolina Elite Women's Care every moment, every visit has meaning when a woman is pregnant. As our motto states, we provide "Elite Care for the Elite You" prior to, during, and after pregnancy. As a result, we provide preconceptual counseling, pregnancy related care, and post pregnancy care.
Before pregnancy, we address issues that are impactful to the future pregnancy. For example, we provide family planning, update appropriate immunizations, and review medications that can be harmful during the pregnancy.
Our obstetrical services are tailor made for you at the start of your first visit. After your first visit, we design a plan that includes a healthy mix of your personal goals with recommended medical care. As a result of our customized care, we encourage birth plans and suggestions by moms and dads who have goals in mind regarding their pregnancies. At each visit, we listen to you, learn from you, and act in your best interest.
After delivery, we understand that your life will not be the same. We embrace your new transition by making sure that you've healed from delivery, achieve proper spacing between deliveries with birth control, if desired, and address any emotional concerns to optimize the care of your newborn.
